Boca Raton, FL – February 24, 2022 – Unicorn Children’s Foundation held their Saturday Brunch & Fashion Show on Fisher Island on Saturday, February 19, 2022. This was an inspirational afternoon with food, fun, fashion, and giving back. Proceeds benefit kids and young adults with developmental differences and help their families navigate the complex journey.
The afternoon kicked off with emcee, Bridgette Matter, WPLG Local 10 Reporter welcoming guests. Event Chairs Aubrey McCutchen Zeigler and Angela Fisher elaborated on the work of the organization while guests dined on exquisite cuisine. The audience was truly inspired by Keynote Speaker and Junior Board President, Katie Santoro’s speech. She shared her late autism diagnosis and employment journey, and how she has conquered it all! Later, there was a gorgeous fashion show presented by The Colonnade Outlets, and three lucky winners each won a designer handbag and a shopping trip to The Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills. The event concluded with dancing to the sounds of DJ Xavier.

About the Unicorn Children’s Foundation
Unicorn Children’s Foundation is a 27 year old non-profit organization that is dedicated to creating cradle to career pathways for kids and young adults with developmental differences and helping their families navigate the complex journey. Our initiatives connect families to community resources, advocate for inclusive opportunities, respect differences, empower individuals, and support success. With 1 in 6 children being diagnosed with a developmental difference, we envision a world where all children, regardless of their disabilities, will have every opportunity to be accepted, included, and provided with opportunities for meaningful engagement in their community.
